In conjunction with the World Water Day 2012 celebration, Sibu Water Board will be having Open Day and Customer Day at Salim Treatment Plant, Sibu Water Board, KM 5, Jalan Salim, Sibu on 24 March 2012 (Saturday) from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

            The theme for this year celebration is “Water & Food Security”. Some of the activities arrange for the public are Showing of Videos, Enquiry Counter, Treatment Plant Visit, Lucky Draws, Quiz Competition (open to all visitors) and Coloring Contest for Children (5 Years to 12 Years Old).

Below are the Coloring Contest Regulations;

1. Will be held from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
2. Last registration will be at 1:30 pm.
3. Divided into 2 categories i.e.
   • Category A (Below 6 years)
   • Category B (7 – 9 years old)
   • Category C (9 – 12 years old)
4. Have to bring own coloring materials and any type of coloring materials is allowed.
5. Coloring paper will be distributed upon registration.
6. Time given to complete is 1 hour and 30 minutes.
7. No entrance fee is required.
8. Announcement of winners and prize giving ceremony will be held on the same day at 5:00 pm.
