Rules & Regulations

Submission Deadline:   31 May 2017

Category  -  Primary School

1. Write an original essay on the designated topic, The Importance of Water.
2. All submissions must be approximately 250 words in length and written in English language.  Essay must be typed in size A4 paper, double spacing, font type using Times New Roman, and font size 12.  Each entry must have a footnote bearing the participant’s name and page number.
3. Submit your essay to:

English Essay Writing Competition Committee (Primary)
Sibu Water Board,
KM5, Jalan Salim, 96000 Sibu, Sarawak.

4. Submissions will be judged based on originality, creativity, clarity, style and evidence of serious research effort.
5. Entries will not be returned and will become the property of Sibu Water Board.
6. Certificate of Participant will be given to all participants.

Prizes for Primary Category:

1st Prize                                   RM100.00 + Certificate
2nd Prize                                 RM75.00 + Certificate
3rd Prize                                  RM50.00 + Certificate
